Time to Design Your Style

Are you ready to have a boudoir shoot but bored with the usual frilly lace and cutout lingerie? Do you see other women’s pictures and think they’re beautiful, but just not quite what you’re looking for? That’s okay we’ve got you covered…maybe even literally if you look in our closet.

So how do you fall in love with your shoot?

The best advice I could give is to make it your own. Though it helps, boudoir goes beyond being comfortable in your own skin; beautiful pictures take work.

Now, I know you’re thinking, “Work? I just want to look good while the photographer takes my picture. I pay them to work” And they will. They’ll make sure to find out exactly what you want, set it up, and shoot it.

But this is a collaboration, so that means you’ve also got work to do.  The good part is that it’s easy and fun!

So, what’s the work?

Look at other photoshoots. What things did they use that made the pictures appealing to you? What didn’t you like? Most importantly, what fits your personality and will tap into your sensual side for pictures?  Also think about what you like for color, style, and theme.

We can set up fantasy shoots, make you look like a model, even add wings-but we can’t settle on a look. Or even a few looks. That’s where you must do some deciding first.

Luckily, we would never give homework without some help! Here are some distinctive options that will create eye-popping look for your shoot:

Corset

Whether you decide to use just a corset, or a corset shirt combination, corsets are a beautiful choice for a boudoir shoot. The garment itself creates a silhouette that teases out your inner sex kitten. No matter if you pair it with a white shirt, for a sexy pirate look, or choose an option that pushes up, or even shows your whole breast. A staple in boudoir for centuries, corsets also come in a variety of colors and styles giving you options from floral to leather and back.

What about those white shirts?

Speaking of white shirts, it’s hard to go wrong with a crisp white collared shirt. Picture it, artfully arranged as you climb into a bathtub, steam in the background. Or imagine gazing pensively out a window, hint of breast exposed in the most provocative fashion.

Add some Jewelry

Few things are sexier than pearls in photos. They add touch of elegance, even when you’re wearing nothing at all. Flowing white lingerie and arm cuffs can give a simple shoot an old-world flair, and the right updo/earring combo with that white shirt can give you that movie-star-before-a-film-festival look.

If you prepare prior to your shoot, no matter which style you choose; leather or lace, light or dark, by the time the pictures are ready to be taken you’ll be confident in your look.

Shoot us a message today and we’ll start planning your fantasy.

Just don’t forget to stretch!
